Passenger compartment firewalls fabricated in mild steel. Note if you plan to put the fuel tank in the boot of your hot rod or custom, then you really want some form of separating the passengers from the boot trunk in the event of a fire.  Steel stands up to heat better than any other material so forming up a steel firewall is the best way to go. The pictures show our previous work. We do need the car to properly fit the firewall within the car to clear seats and set belts etc.

Some firewall panels are more ellborate requiring a fabricated parcel shelf and allowing for speakers to be mounted behind it as well as a hidden lip to wrap and glue the hood lining to it.  We have a good understanding of what the upholsterer would like to make their job neater and easier when we are fabricating passenger firewall panels.

When seat belt mounts are a part of the rear passenger firewall extra framing is required to stop the seat belt mounts blowing out in the event of a bad accident. It all gets tied into strong points of the body and framed in a neat and tidy manner.
