This dashboard set up was part of a much bigger job. In this instance a completey stock look had to remain, so to comply with the engine change a gear indicator was hidden inside the ash tray. Hidden also was the red alternator ign lamp and thermo fans running green lamp. The instruments were removed and sent away for conversion to 12 volts and to match up with a modern 351W temperature sender etc and new fuel tank sender.  The car was rewired by Kustom Bitz for 12 volt and the glove box became a suedo plant room for the ignition box, fuses, relays and gear selector box ... along with a pocket for the club rego book and a pen.
