Replace your steering box for a rack and pinion steering rack for your I beam axle hot rod front end. Typically a lot of hot rods run a HQ holden steering box. My bracket bolts directly to the old HQ steering box mounts and then the bottom plate that the rack bolts to I can manipulate to get the steering gemetry right. That is to say put the drag link in the right place so as not to create a bump steer problem. Replacing other types of steering boxes is no problem at all.
The mounting braket that comes with the Unisteer racks that are sold is to replace the US made Vega steering box. In some cases they work quite well if you re-drill them, especially if you are building your chassis from scratch. However if you are upgrading an existing chassis, that stock bracket doesn't put the rack in the correct position and you can end up with some bump steer. Some fellas may not notice becasue they already had bump steer before they installed the unirack

in anycase if you are not sure or you want it to be done properly I can do this for you.
You can purchase the unirack for hot rods from a few different places these days, I don't stock them I only buy them in as I need them, so shop it around go and buy one and I'll put it in for you.
